USB flash drives are 'data storage tool of choice'
Tuesday 13th of May 2008
USB flash drives have become the data storage tool of choice for professionals who keep up to speed with the latest technological advancements, according to reports.
The devices can be tailor-made to reflect an individual's personality and businesses can use flash drive duplication to promote their own brand and activities, according to a recent news feature reflecting on the benefits of the technology.
In addition, the fact that USB flash drives tend to last for years at a time means that users are more inclined to add a personal touch to their data storage device.
"Where CDs, DVDs and floppy disks were the portable media storage tools of yesteryear, today's smart technophiles carry USB flash drives to transport their data," wrote a TransWorldNews reporter recently.
Last week, the GadgetSpy reported on the launch by Vavolo of a new range of USB flash drives that are designed to look like freshly-baked cakes.
