Pink memory cards to 'raise breast cancer awareness'

A series of pink memory cards are to be distributed in various parts of Canada in an effort to raise awareness of breast cancer around the country, it has emerged.

Many businesses and not-for-profit organisation's use specially branded memory cards to promote their activities and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation has signed a deal with Fidelity Electronics to this end.

In addition, to pink memory cards, the breast cancer foundation will also be having USB flash drives designed and distributed for the same reasons and both parties involved in the deal are confident of success.

Stan Samole, chief executive of Fidelity Electronics, said that his company is "proud to support the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and help raise awareness and provide funds in support of a future without breast cancer".

The foundation is the leading organisation of its kind in Canada and, having been founded in 1986, is still working with the aim of ensuring breast cancer sufferers can have a good quality of life.
